Magnus Andersson

Information are comming soon..

Born 1971 in Vänersborg. Already when I was 6 years old, I wanted to be a racing driver.
But in 1978, Ronnie Peterson drove himself to death, so then time stopped and I realized that I wasn’t going to drive a car…
Became fascinated by photographers, my father had an old system camera, and for 10 years I borrowed it. That was my biggest interest.
I applied for a high school course in photography and ended up in Gothenburg.
After the education, I ended up at a local newspaper in Ängelholm, and worked as a still photographer. Then it became Hallandsposten and I moved to Halmstad.
In 1995 I was headhunted to TV4, where I worked with news, entertainment programs and sports, until 2006.
Viasat had the rights to show Formula 1 and I knew everything about Formula 1, so I quit TV4 and started freelancing in 2007.
There is no other Swedish photographer who has been behind the scenes, on the starting grid, and photographed as much Formula 1 as I have.
