Kalle Gustafsson
Kalle Gustafsson is one of Sweden’s most established fashion photographers who has worked with large fashion and advertising clients over the years. He is often described as a masterful storyteller with a timeless sense of nostalgia.
He was quickly sucked into the world of images, after two educations in Sydney and Paris, years of backpacking to South and Central America and Asia, assistant jobs for various photographers and then his jobs for large clients such as H&M and Vogue.
“The career has spun fast and at a very fast pace, 300 travel days a year is nothing special when you shoot fashion for big brands,” says Kalle.
With a great passion for architecture and design, Kalle has also photographed environments inspired by this.
Gustafsson’s latest breakthrough was when his breathtaking horse image (“Stallion”) was chosen as the cover for Bruce Springsteen’s nineteenth album “Western Stars”, which was released in the summer of 2019.
