“I have been interested in photography and music for as long as I can remember. Had the pleasure to see many Swedish and foreign artists who came to Folkparken in Halmstad in the 60s such as The Who, Troggs, Hollies, Manfred Mann, Sweet, Bill Haley and others. Met Per Gessle when he worked at Fammarps Champinjonodling 1977-78 during the summer. We drove the mushroom car together and had a common interest in 60s music. This was just before they started recording the “Yellow EP” in 1978. My friend Per-Olov Andreasson who I worked with had a studio at Kärleken in Halmstad and it was he who produced the first EP. I then followed their development and started collecting on their records. My interest in music led me to start a record store in Getinge. In March 1981 when Gyllene Tider released its second LP “Moderna Tider” they came out to us in Getinge and signed the records (one of the pictures was taken at this time)” – Håkan Söderquist.
